These are called Vintage Plaid and are available in two colors; Arizona Red and California Blue. As the name implies, they have a plaid back which gives them a homey appeal. These decks will remind you of a time when you use to watch your grandfather play cards around the kitchen table.

Each deck contains 2 custom jokers, a custom ace of spades and the court cards in each deck have tinting which accents the stripes in the back design. In addition, what seems to be a trend with Dan & Dave, they include 2 additional cards which can not be used in anyway for any card game. The first card is a word-find puzzle that is printed on both sides. Poker is circled on one side and hunting is circled on the other. The second is is a recipe, for what they say, was America's first cocktail-The Sazerac. While I have know idea if that is true or not, it definitely adds to the over all feel of this deck and along with the word-find puzzle card, achieve their goal of bringing you back to a time in America when the pace wasn't so hurried and good times were abound.
