This is a classic effect and works well for a stage show or a children's show. A cylinder with a cover is shown. The cover is removed to show a clear cylinder inside. A set of silks (not included) are placed inside the cylinder. The cover is placed back. With a magical wave, the magician removes the cover to show that the silks have changed into something else.

It is here where you need to be creative as to what to change the silks into. Anything that can fit into the cylinder will work. Some ideas include changing an orange, yellow, and red silk into an orange, banana, and apple.

Although not the most mind blowing effect out there, with the proper handling, it is a very graceful trick.
